Start building backlinks. Find blogs that are related to what your website is about. Make a comment on the blog and be sure to include your URL, not your domain name. When your comment is published by the blog owner, your website gets 3 Gold Stars from Google. Try to do one or two a day. This experience is great promotion for your site and you get to see other designs, read some well optimized text, see what graphics are useful and which are stupid. You will see blogs that are practically nothing but advertising, OK to comment but pretty worthless as contributing good content to the internet. Many of these blogs are just ad money scams.

SERP: basic of search result
In order for your site to rank well in search results pages, it's important to make sure that Google can crawl and index your site correctly. Our Webmaster Guidelines outline some best practices that can help you avoid common pitfalls and improve your site's ranking.
Google's Related Searches, Spelling Suggestions, and Google Suggest features are designed to help users save time by displaying related terms, common misspellings, and popular queries. Like our google.com search results, the keywords used by these features are automatically generated by our web crawlers and search algorithms. We display these suggestions only when we think they might save the user time. If a site ranks well for a keyword, it's because we've algorithmically determined that its content is more relevant to the user's query.

View conversion reports on the Google Content Network
Earlier this year, we mentioned our plans to improve the measurement of conversions for display advertising campaigns on the Google Content Network. Today, to help you better measure the value of your display advertising campaigns, we're announcing a new feature called View-through conversion reporting on the Google Content Network.
Display ads are influential in increasing brand awareness and driving purchase consideration, and with View-through conversion reporting, you can better measure the impact of your display ad campaign for those instances where your ad is seen, but not immediately clicked on. More specifically, View-through conversion reporting measures the number of conversions that occurred within 30 days of your display ad appearing for which there was no ad click generated.
By using View-through conversion reporting, you can more easily compare the performance of your Google Content Network campaign with the performance of your other display advertising campaigns. This feature can also help you determine the best ways and places to advertise, how best to optimize your display ad campaigns, and, ultimately, how to spend your advertising dollars more effectively.
Here is an example of how View-through conversion reporting works: Let's say you're selling pet food online and you're measuring conversions on your site's email newsletter sign-up and your shopping cart "Thank You" pages. If a user sees your display ad, does not click on it but then visits your site within the next 30 days to sign-up to receive your email newsletter and to purchase a couple dozen cans of organic cat food, you'll see two View-through conversions reported on your Campaigns tab in AdWords.
Starting today, you can also visit the Campaigns tab in AdWords and activate the optional View-through conversion reporting column. You'll need to have AdWords Conversion Tracking installed for View-through conversion reporting to work for your campaigns.
To learn more about View-through conversion reporting on the Google Content Network, you can visit the Help Center. We hope this feature will provide you with better information about your campaigns and help you get the most out of your display advertising campaigns. source;- adwords.blogspot.com/

Benefits of Microblogging
Microblogging has so many versatile marketing uses, however, clients question why they should use microblogs and what are the real benefits?I could probably sit here and write 10 or more obvious reasons, however, one of the most important reasons has to be search engine visibility…I will lend you my real world example:
I bought a lovely pair of Nike Vomero 3 running shoes two weeks ago and ever since I have been busy putting them through their paces. As I have been so happy with them I decided to do a few searches in order to see what other people had to say about them.
As soon as I queried “Nike Vomero3” a twitter tweet ranked No.2 (Google UK & No.1 Google UK (UK)) providing a good review of the shoe. So there we are, there’s the head smacker…search engine visibility!
Not only are microblogs social media platforms which syndicate information, facilitate conversation and enable community building; they are also capable of providing good search engine visibility over time. This is something that many DR centric brands will value

How do I set up goals and funnels?
After you’ve thought of what your goals will be, start setting up them up by following these instructions:
Log in to your Google Analytics account at https://www.google.com/analytics/.
Select the account that contains the profile you’ll be creating goals in from the Overview page.
Find the profile for which you will be creating goals, and click 'Edit' under the 'Actions' column.
Under the 'Conversion Goals and Funnel' section, select one of the four goal slots available for that profile and click 'Edit.'
Turn the goal 'On' or 'Off.' If you choose 'On,' that means you want Google Analytics should track this conversion goal at this time. Since there are no ways of deleting goals, turning it 'Off' can make the goal inactive.
Select from one of the three match types that Google Analytics uses to identify the goal.
Enter the Request URI in the Goal URL box. Reaching this page marks a successful conversion. For example, a registration confirmation page, a checkout complete page, or a thank you page.
Enter the 'Goal name' as it should appear in your Google Analytics account.
If your goal URL is case sensitive, this means your goal URLs are capitalized exactly like the visited goal URLs.
Enter the 'Goal value.'
Defining funnels
After you’ve entered your goal information, define a funnel:
Enter the 'URL' of the first page of your conversion funnel. This page should be a page that is common to all users working their way towards your goal. For example, if you are tracking user flow through your checkout pages, do not include a product page as a step in your funnel.
Please note: Funnel URLs are treated as regular expressions. For this reason, you can include wildcard characters and use other regular expression methods if you want to match more than a single URL. Learn more about regular expressions.
Enter a 'Name' for this step.
If this step is a 'Required step' in the conversion process, select the checkbox to the right of the step. If this checkbox is selected, users reaching your goal page without travelling through this funnel page will not be counted as conversions. Learn more about the 'Required Step' option in a funnel.
Continue entering goal steps until your funnel has been completely defined. You may enter up to 10 funnel steps, or as few as a single step.
Click Save Changes to create this Goal and funnel, or Cancel to exit without saving.

The Sticky for Meta Description, keywords, keyword density, and title tags
Title tags: Exceptionally Important. Use it for page description, brand recognition, keyword placement. Want to know how many characters? Go count yourself in Google results.
meta description tags: IMO no ranking addition (may be wrong.) IF it's off topic and unrelated to content does it hinder some Google score? We can almost certainly safely conclude you don't get benefit from the tag.
Benefits then? If you don't have content that reflects the site/page content/ search term, then a description tag will help. It also provides the impetus for more clicks then another result with an unclear description.
However most disagree whether this is actually true since tests are inconclusive. From my perspective it DOES help a small minority and is therefore beneficial for said reasons above. If you, however, have targeted content that will do well as a description, no need for the tag.
From my tests on eye-tracking and CTR the TITLE tag is usually what people will glance over not the description tag. Having said THAT we still have evidence that descriptions still work.
Case in point? an example used in the keyword density argument--Dell.com
Dell.com ranks for 'computers'. Sure they have tons of links, but how on earth does Google find title and description tags with the KW computers?! if they don't have it in their content.
The title tag is derived from a DMOZ listing (with 'computers'), however, but the meta description is also used and contains the word 'computers'. So it DOES suggest that if you're a hermit and were searching for computers, didn't know who Dell was, (and they didn't have a dmoz listing), seeing the top ranked site with 'computers' in the description (and in this case title) may induce a click.
keyword density
Copy and paste me recent response....Some SEOs actually look at KW density. I think it's stupid. If you do the normal optimization for 2-3 keywords per page (i.e. bold the words, in the title tags, header tags) then why are you looking at KW density?
Anything between 0-100% is fine. 100% means you have a page with one word, 0% means you may get traffic through LSI (latent semantic indexing) traffic.
At the end of the day it's about your content. if you pay attention for LASTING and VALUABLE content to your target market then you will NATURALLY incur keywords throughout the document/page. If you write for search engines then you'll have to pay attention to your stupid English pages and your keywords densities.
Write for people, optimize for engines, write great content for people, lasting content, valuable content. Stop WASTING time on densities. that's so 2003

SEO Tips To Improve Web Visitors
1. Focus page
Each page should focus on a single keyword or keyword phrase. Your keywords should appear in the title, a title and a tag in bold on the page. You can be bold with each other or keyword phrases related to, but do not overdo it. Check the density of keywords on the page. There are many free online tools to check keyword density. Must be between 5% and 15%. If the density is higher than that and you run the risk that sanctions imposed by the search engine.
2. Select the appropriate title tags
Your title tag is first seen by the search engine spiders, so this is the most important SEO tools that you have. Your title should consist of only 1 thing - keywords from your page. Title tag is the text that will appear in the title bar of a web browser when someone visits your page. See the title on this page.
3. Design the site for visitors and search engines
Many experts to design the site or blog for visitors to the friendly and we do not need to worry with the search engine. Be sure to use ALT tags for all your photos. Avoiding the use of frames, flash and javascript.
4. Use unique content: Find unique content because search engines are like.
Do not fill the website / blog with this article, as found in an article of this site. It is fine to use some of them, but you must have content that is not found anywhere on the web. Ideally, all content on the main page must be unique because this is the first page of search engine will indexed it. But if you want some of the pages indexed for a particular keyword, then at least the top of the page contents must be unique.
5. Use the link back to the effective
Backlink’s from other website or blog when there is a link on the web page that link to your site. There are many ways to get backlinks (which is a topic for another article). Make sure that keywords in the text of the link. For example, if the link text “click here” link will not have weight in the eyes of the search engine and text links are considered “Cookie Recipes”.

Technical guidelines of Google
Allow search bots to crawl your sites without session IDs or arguments that track their path through the site. These techniques are useful for tracking individual user behavior, but the access pattern of bots is entirely different. Using these techniques may result in incomplete indexing of your site, as bots may not be able to eliminate URLs that look different but actually point to the same page.
Make sure your web server supports the If-Modified-Since HTTP header. This feature allows your web server to tell Google whether your content has changed since we last crawled your site. Supporting this feature saves you bandwidth and overhead.
Make use of the robots.txt file on your web server. This file tells crawlers which directories can or cannot be crawled. Make sure it's current for your site so that you don't accidentally block the Googlebot crawler. Visit http://www.robotstxt.org/faq.html to learn how to instruct robots when they visit your site. You can test your robots.txt file to make sure you're using it correctly with the robots.txt analysis tool available in Google Webmaster Tools.
If your company buys a content management system, make sure that the system creates pages and links that search engines can crawl.
Use robots.txt to prevent crawling of search results pages or other auto-generated pages that don't add much value for users coming from search engines.
Test your site to make sure that it appears correctly in different browsers.

Pagerank sculpting
People think about PageRank in lots of different ways. People have compared PageRank to a “random surfer” model in which PageRank is the probability that a random surfer clicking on links lands on a page. Other people think of the web as an link matrix in which the value at position (i,j) indicates the presence of links from page i to page j. In that case, PageRank corresponds to the principal eigenvector of that normalized link matrix. No PageRank would ever escape from the loop, and as incoming PageRank continued to flow into the loop, eventually the PageRank in that loop would reach infinity. Infinite PageRank isn’t that helpful so Larry and Sergey introduced a decay factor--you could think of it as 10-15% of the PageRank on any given page disappearing before the PageRank flows along the outlinks. In the random surfer model, that decay factor is as if the random surfer got bored and decided to head for a completely different page. You can do some neat things with that reset vector, such as personalization, but that’s outside the scope of our discussion.
Now let’s talk about the rel=nofollow attribute. Nofollow is method (introduced in 2005 and supported by multiple search engines) to annotate a link to tell search engines “I can’t or don’t want to vouch for this link.” In Google, nofollow links don’t pass PageRank and don’t pass anchortext [*].
So what happens when you have a page with “ten PageRank points” and ten outgoing links, and five of those links are nofollowed? Let’s leave aside the decay factor to focus on the core part of the question. Originally, the five links without nofollow would have flowed two points of PageRank each (in essence, the nofollowed links didn’t count toward the denominator when dividing PageRank by the outdegree of the page). More than a year ago, Google changed how the PageRank flows so that the five links without nofollow would flow one point of PageRank each.

Search Categories in Yahoo
Yahoo Images: Searches for images, photos, illustrations, and icons from all over the Web and presents results ranked by algorithm.
Yahoo Video: Searches for videos from all over the Web and presents results ranked by algorithm.
Yahoo Directory: Directory search results are sites from the Yahoo! Directory and are ranked by algorithm. The Directory is a human-created and maintained library of web sites organized into categories and subcategories. Sites that participate in Directory Submit pay for an expedited review for potential inclusion in the Directory.
Yahoo Local: Local search results might contain listings that paid for placement. Those listings are separated into the Sponsored Businesses and/or Featured Listings sections of the page. Listings within the Local results might have financial relationships with Yahoo! but have not paid for placement.
Yahoo News: News search results are sites derived from multiple sources that you can rank either by algorithm or date.
Yahoo Shopping: Yahoo! Shopping helps you find products and compare prices from different merchants selling the same item. Yahoo! Shopping does this in part by searching through millions of products offered by thousands of third party merchants. Most merchants included in Yahoo! Shopping pay for placement of their product offers in resulting listings. In general, the order in which Yahoo! Shopping search results are displayed is determined by an algorithmic ranking and relevance is a key factor used, although payment by participating merchants along with other factors can affect the order of Yahoo! Shopping search results. Some Yahoo! Shopping search results may include products from merchants that submit content to Yahoo! Shopping for review and inclusion in the Yahoo! Shopping database. These merchants pay for inclusion of their content in the Yahoo! Shopping database, but participation in this paid inclusion program does not guarantee placement or ranking of search results. To add comprehensiveness, some Yahoo! Shopping search results may include free results generated from millions of web pages discovered, crawled and indexed by the Yahoo! Shopping web crawl process

Blog: Increase Traffic To Your Website
So why are blogs so successful in increasing your website's rankings? To start, blogs have no specific special powers of high rankings on their very own. What they do have potentially is fresh, unique content. Most search engines tend to like this, regardless of the format. If the search engines know any given site is adding new articles on a frequent basis, they will come around often to index it and indexing in turn means better ratings.

Google Quality guidelines for website
These quality guidelines cover the most common forms of deceptive or manipulative behavior, but Google may respond negatively to other misleading practices not listed here (e.g. tricking users by registering misspellings of well-known websites). It's not safe to assume that just because a specific deceptive technique isn't included on this page, Google approves of it. Webmasters who spend their energies upholding the spirit of the basic principles will provide a much better user experience and subsequently enjoy better ranking than those who spend their time looking for loopholes they can exploit.
If you believe that another site is abusing Google's quality guidelines, please report that site at https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/spamreport. Google prefers developing scalable and automated solutions to problems, so we attempt to minimize hand-to-hand spam fighting. The spam reports we receive are used to create scalable algorithms that recognize and block future spam attempts.
Quality guidelines - basic principles:
Make pages primarily for users, not for search engines. Don't deceive your users or present different content to search engines than you display to users, which is commonly referred to as "cloaking."
Avoid tricks intended to improve search engine rankings. A good rule of thumb is whether you'd feel comfortable explaining what you've done to a website that competes with you. Another useful test is to ask, "Does this help my users? Would I do this if search engines didn't exist?"
Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web, as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.
Don't use unauthorized computer programs to submit pages, check rankings, etc. Such programs consume computing resources and violate our Terms of Service. Google does not recommend the use of products such as WebPosition Gold™ that send automatic or programmatic queries to Google.
Quality guidelines - specific guidelines:
Avoid hidden text or hidden links.
Don't use cloaking or sneaky redirects.
Don't send automated queries to Google.
Don't load pages with irrelevant keywords.
Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
Don't create pages with malicious behavior, such as phishing or installing viruses, trojans, or other badware.
Avoid "doorway" pages created just for search engines, or other "cookie cutter" approaches such as affiliate programs with little or no original content.
If your site participates in an affiliate program, make sure that your site adds value. Provide unique and relevant content that gives users a reason to visit your site first.
If you determine that your site doesn't meet these guidelines, you can modify your site so that it does and then submit your site for reconsideration.

Google Adsense
Step2: Add Google Adsense to your website or blog. Many sites are Adsense-ready and are activated by inputting your publisher ID (a unique number Google will give you upon approval) and choosing the type of display you want for your targeted advertising.
Step3: Drive traffic to your website or blog so that more people have an opportunity to see the targeted advertisements. You earn money based on not only clicked ads but also the number of page views.
Step4: Input your pin number when your account reaches $10. When Google sees that your account has reached the $10 earning mark, they will mail, via postal mail, a pin number to you that you must input into their system via directions included with the pin. This assures Google that you are the person you say you are via receiving a physical letter in the mail. This action activates your account to be ready for payment.
Step5: Receive payment when your account reaches $100 in Adsense earnings. Each time your account hits the $100 milestone, Google will initiate their payment cycle. Payments can be received via electronic funds transfer or via a check sent to you through the mail.

Linking As a Form Of SEO to Boost website's Ranking
after a query is made on it. One of the ways to boost your ranking is through use of link creation and distribution.
Linking as a SEO means having as many links as possible pointing back to your website or blog. How Keyword Density, Prominence And Proximity Affects Search Engine Rankings
Keyword density refers to the ratio (percentage) of keywords contained within the total number of indexable words within a web page.
The preferred keyword density ratio varies from search engine to search engine. In general, I recommend using a keyword density ratio in the range of 2-8%.
You may like to use this real-time keyword analysis tool to help you optimize a web page's keyword density ratio.
Keyword Frequency
Keyword frequency refers to the number of times a keyword or keyword phrase appears within a web page.
The theory is that the more times a keyword or keyword phrase appears within a web page, the more relevance a search engine is likely to give the page for a search with those keywords.
In general, I recommend that you ensure that the most important keyword or keyword phrase is the most frequently use keywords in a web page.
But be careful not to abuse the system by repeating the same keyword or keyword phrases over and over again.
Keyword Prominence
Keyword prominence refers to how prominent keywords are within a web page.
The general recommendation is to place important keywords at, or near, the start of a web page, sentence, TITLE or META tag.
Keyword Proximity
Keyword proximity refers to the closeness between two or more keywords. In general, the closer the keywords are, the better.
For example:
How Keyword Density Affects Search Engine Rankings How Keyword Density Affects Rankings In Search Engine Using the example above, if someone searched for "search engine rankings," a web page containing the first sentence is more likely to rank higher than the second.
The reason is because the keywords are placed closer together. This is assuming that everything else is equal, of course.

The concept of email marketing
The concept of email marketing is very simple to interpret the process of learning whether or not it is right for your business can be significantly more complex. Two of the most competent forms of outreach are search engine and electronic mail marketing.
As an e-mail promoting marketing practice, this has worked very good, and whilst an interesting exercise in Joint Venture Marketing in itself, it has produced a result so significant in my eyes, that I felt it suitable of a report.
Merchandising ideasIf you lack the endowment or time to be constructive and generate your own marketing ideas, there are marketing agencies that can help you to build a perfect marketing program. There are numerous means to skin a cat and numerous extremely effective, low cost selling ideas out there. On the other hand, a company with good affiliate marketing ideas will go the extra mile to work with its affiliate.
Work with business savvy architects who are experts in merchandising, and ask them to supply you with some basic ideas on what to do. Invest in good marketing ebooks, study them, and apply the new ideas you gained to make more money in your business.
Marketing resultsIt will enable you to run your sales team whilst the generation of new leads from your marketing efforts continues in the backdrop Let me give you an illustration. Austin Texas merchandising agencies teach businesses like yours that when employed the right way, telemarketing will advance customer loyalty, generate leads, and increase sales. His passion for experimenting with new internet marketing strategies leads him to research new niche markets.
The new perceptiveness that you have might be just the thing that leads to a new marketing campaign, product or help idea. If you are incapable to affiliate leads and sales with the specific merchandising efforts that bring forth them you have no way of knowing what is working as an good marketing mechanism and what is not.
A funded proposition gives you the chance to get leads and have those leads pay for themselves through the sale of the products in your selling arrangement. The new perceptiveness that you gain might be just the thing that leads to a new marketing campaign, product or service idea.
Electronic Network CommercializingOn a more or less unique note, in many MLM network marketing businesses, one of the best pools of prospective downline members is found within your group of satisfied clients.
What I did realise right away still is that when a network marketing company gets it right (more on that shortly) then you have the most dramatic concept for creating a pension-style income in 3-5 years, and for freeing up your time to enjoy your life. You can earn a streaming residual income without net marketing or employees. You should be able to invest three or more hours a day to your network merchandising program.
Marketing principleBesides the fact that as a general rule, I always recommend to marketers the use of a master permission based email merchandising service, in the Lotus Notes case you just have to. So, if you rate your fair name and want to build a long-term relationship with your clients remember the rule number one of e-mail marketing - not send unsolicited email.
In net marketing, there is a technique that is frequently passed on from upline to downline called the 3-foot rule. The comparable rule applies to your smaller business marketing activities.

Few Things for Pay-Per-Click Advertising
I love PPC advertising, and you should, too. You only pay when people click on your ad, your campaign is easy and fast to setup and you can set daily budget limits. It must be the easiest way to attract new customers! So... why isn't everybody becoming a millionaire by using PPC? because there is more to making PPC profitable than it first appears.
Pay-per-click advertising is one of the fastest, easiest ways to increase the number of visitors to your web site and catapult sales, and still many internet business owners and online marketers frequently find themselves spending money on online advertising and never see it translate into increased sales. I used to be one one of them.
My ads weren't working, I was paying over $400 every month for Google ads, and for a few months I was lucky if I generated $100 in sales from them. I was totally depressed with the poor response I was getting and was beginning to feel that it probably wasn't worth spending money on PPC advertising. It is true that PPC advertising can be the fastest and easiest way to grow your business, but I also learned that it can also be one of the quickest ways to go out of business, if you don't train yourself to do it right.
Just when I was thinking about giving up, my last resource was to get specialized training in PPC advertising and I thank God for the decision I made that day. This changed everything. My sales went up by 800% almost immediately after I implemented the first few, simple but proven ideas. Not only did my sales explode, but I learned how to make PPC ads that pay for themselves.
The first thing that I learned, is that you have to stop wishing, hoping and guessing at what to put in your PPC ads. The next thing was to find out for certain what works to get the best response and very importantly, I determined what wasn't working so that I could stop wasting money!
To make your PPC campaign a successful one and more than pay for itself, you have to pay special attention to:
your keyword selection,
the layout of your ad,
the landing page to which people are directed from the ad,
the sequence of information which results in the highest conversion rates,
identify the marketing messages that actually get attention and keep prospects reading,
And the follow-up strategy which will increase your sales by at least 50 to 100%.
Is your PPC campaign helping you earn as much as you'd like? Does your marketing strategy help you generate hundreds of prospects a week and help you convert them into paying clients? Are you getting the results you want?
The importance of training lies in the fact that you will learn from other people's mistakes and experiences, allowing you to implement proven ideas and avoid the frustration and costs of trial-and-error. There are many, very good online training courses out there that can get you on the track to success. You will save a lot of time and money you would otherwise waste on trying to advertise without the clear strategy that adequate training will give you.
