How to Optimize a website part 5

You should be using directory submission, article submission, and 3-way linking.
Regular Article Submission IS definitely worth doing; however, a better way to go about writing and submitting articles is to use Article Syndication. Article Syndication is where you write an article, submit it to SEOLinkVine.com and then allow SEOLV to “syndicate” (i.e. put) your article onto thousands of blogs across the internet.
Article Syndication is the best form of linking because you:
Are getting links from multiple websites related to the content of your article
Can control the exact text surrounding your link and can place 3 links to your website within the actual content of each article. Not just 1 link in the footer of your article.
This is 100% undetectable by Google because SEOLV just facilitates the natural process between people that own websites and want content, with the people that don’t mind writing the content in return for links to their websites.
Instead of writing articles and submitting them to the same article directory hundreds of times (in which case you’d get 100 links all from the same website; ezinearticles.com), you’re submitting the articles to SEOLinkVine which allows you to insert 3 links per article, and then it syndicates your article to DIFFERENT blogs across the internet. So you’re getting links from different IP Addresses… and you learned in a previous lesson the importance of getting links from difference IP Addresses.
Get mass links through forum profile linking. Find forums across the internet and create an account with them. They don’t need to be related to your website’s content. After you create an account, add a link to your website within your forum profile. Use your main keyword phrase as the anchor/link text that you use to point to your site.
This can be somewhat time-consuming, but works really well. I would recommend using a software program to help automate this process and save you hours of time. This program is very good; however is pretty “techy” is: Nuclear Link Blaster
Get links by commenting on blog owner’s blog posts. DO NOT spam. If you spam, your comment will not get approved, PLUS you make yourself look like an amateur and waste the blog owner’s time. Spamming is never good. Don’t do it. Make comments directly related to the blog post that would add to the discussion. Then throw in a link to your website in the “name” field.
Get links by adding a signature to your forum posts. If you’re not a member to a forum related to your niche, become a member. Them become active in the forum. The more posts you make to the forum, the more links you’ll get. A forum signature is simply the text that’s located at the bottom of every single forum post you made. You can edit your forum signature within the edit profile screen of most all forums.

How to Optimize a website part 4

Reciprocal linking is when you ask another website to link to your site in return for you linking to them. This is a waste of time and no longer works.
The current way you should be manually approaching websites for links is through “three-way” linking. This is where you ask a website owner to link to your website A, in return for you linking to them from your Website B. In order to do this, you need to own 2 websites.
Website A (you own this website)
Website B (you own this website)
Website C (the person’s website you’re trying to get a link from)
This way there is no footprint in Google eye’s. They will have no idea that you arranged this “link exchange” because no 2 sites are linking to and from each other.
You should purchase a Page Rank 5 website with content on it, to use as your “link bait” so that when you approach other sites about this 3-way linking strategy, they’ll have a huge incentive to take you up on the offer. Because they’ll be getting a link from you from a Page Rank 5 website. Always think “what’s in it for them?” The better offer you can make them, the greater chance you’ll get a link from them.
Use SEO Elite to find potential authority websites so you’ll know which websites you should manually approach for this 3-way linking. SEO Elite will show you exactly which websites will give you the absolute most benefit if you could get a link on their website.
5.You should write articles. The articles should be related to your website’s main topic. In the footer of each article you can include a link to your website.
You should submit manually to the top 3 article directories:
   ezinearticles.com
   articlebase.com
   articledashboard.com
Jack Humphrey has a very good list at his website here:

Submit your websites to website directories on the internet. Start with 3 main website directories:
   Yahoo Directory
   Dmoz   JoeAnt

How to Optimize a website part 2

On page ranking factors are things ON your own web pages that you can change yourself in order to affect your Google rankings.
Various on page ranking factors include:
   Page title
Actual text on the web page
   Alt image tags
   Bold tags
   Italic tags
   Underline Tags
   Meta description tag
   Meta keyword tag
   h1 and h2 header tags
Internal linking between the web pages of your website
Wikipedia.org is a great example of good internal linking. Internal linking is one of the most important on page ranking factors of your website.
When linking to another web page on your website, you should use the keyword(s) you’re trying to rank that web page for, in the “anchor text”.
Note: Anchor Text: is the blue underlined text that when clicked, will take you to the specific web page.
NEVER use the anchor text “home” to link back to your home page from each page of your website. Use something like: keyword home
as the anchor text.
When linking back to your homepage. Don’t link back to index.htm or index.php etc. Link back to the FULL URL: http://www.WhateverYourSiteIs.com so that it will count as a link back to your homepage, increasing your Google rank.
Add a forum to your website. A good free forum is www.phpbb.com .
At the bottom of each page in your forum, link back to your homepage. Use your main keyword as the anchor text. This way, each time a forum post is made, you now have another link pointing back to your homepage, using your main anchor text.
Include your keyword inside each of the main on page ranking factors that I mentioned in #2 above. Don’t worry about keyword density. Just make sure you mention your keyword at the beginning, middle, and end of your web page and you’ll be good to go.
